The seminar brings together participants from all over Finland on issues of religious dialogue, religious freedom and minority participation in education and society. You will meet international experts, participate in reflective conversations in small groups and discuss what respectful, interreligious and intercultural dialogue can look like in schools. The focus is on minority perspectives, minority rights and human rights, based on the Faith for Rights Declaration 2017 in Beirut.
The program includes lectures by Professor of Law Ibrahim Salama and Rabbi Alexander Goldberg, a panel discussion, small group reflections, good food, recovery, relaxed togetherness, outdoor programs and the opportunity to create new contacts. The seminar is aimed at those who work with or are involved in religious education, minority issues, interreligious dialogue, education, youth work or religious freedom.
The main producers of the seminar are Ad Astra rf and the parents' association DIVa rf in collaboration with Suomen ortodoksisten opettajien liitto, Ecumenical Council of Finland, Islamteachers and other educators.
